Wuthering heights

After finishing Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy ( [link] ) I told myself that I could NOT make darcy and don't make Heathcliff too. It would be a real shame for me.
you know, I like Pride & prejudice 'cause it makes me laugh so much and 'cause Jane Austen is really ironic but Wuthering Hights makes me cry every single time I read it.... T.T

by the way, I never thought about Wuthering Heights being a love story. It's not a love story. It's a vengeance story. It's a story about two hateful, mean and selfish people who cannot stop hurting each other... and it's fantastic.
*.* I love how cathy it's absolutely spoiled and selfish and heathcliff is absolutely violent, and extreme and resentful!

My fav book EVER.
(by the way even if I don't see it as a real love story it contains the most romantic sentence I've ever read or heard... T.T I cry every single time... “My love for Linton is like the foliage in the woods; time will change it, I'm well aware, as winter changes the trees. My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath--a source of little visible delight, but necessary. Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He's always, always in my mind--not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being”.)
