When I read mockinjay this scene caught my eye. I like Collins' writing style: is simple, direct and very vivid and I liked a lot the images she creates while Katniss is under drugs for her various (and always occurring) injuries.
This one scene when she hides in the closet is one of my favourite, I had to paint it.

I love Collins' writing style too, and the way she addresses issues like PTSD, substance abuse, addiction and so forth. It's never particularly gory or scandalous, but her language is so direct and vivid that you can really relate to what the characters are feeling.
